Join us on Dec. 7th at 7:00pm for Endurance Sim Racing - Overview
For Porsche, Endurance racing has been an instrumental part of a long success story. Porsche has been successful in both prototype and GT class race series where endurance of race drivers and durability of cars have been tested. This year Porsche celebrated its 70th participation in Le Mans 2021 and has been on the starting grid at every edition of the 24-hour race since the first race in 1951 achieving countless class victories and records.
Endurance racing has also become very popular among the fast-growing sim racing community worldwide and PNWR-members expressed interest in this fascinating form of motorsport.
We're excited to host Chris Paiz, in a virtual live meeting, where the focus will be on helping you gain a better understanding of what Endurance racing is all about, and what is needed to be successful and have a great experience. Chris Paiz is an experienced race car driver who started racing competitively in real life and sim endurance racing in 2017 and has successfully completed the Triple Crown (in iRacing): 24h Daytona, 12h Sebring, and 24h Le Mans.
Please join us and learn how to plan and best prepare for an endurance race, and how to reach the highest performance on-track, including car setup, effective and efficient practice, navigating traffic in a multi-class race, fuel saving, and night stints. While the content will be sim racing focused, anyone interested in endurance racing is welcome! Also, if you have experience with endurance racing in real life, you're more than welcome to share your insights and experiences.
The virtual live meeting will be on Tuesday, December 7th at 7 pm.
After you register, you will receive a confirmation email that will contain the link to the online meeting.
