Join us for the Goldendale Observatory Tour on Saturday, Aug. 3 and Sunday, Aug 4th

Come join us for a unique opportunity to listen to a a complete multi-media presentation from a Forest Service ranger as he/she gives a detailed explanation of our solar system including a personal view of the heavens through the Observatory’s main 29.5 inch reflector telescope. The tour starts with a beautiful drive through the Cascades down to Goldendale, WA on Day 1 with the Observatory tour running from 9 PM - Midnight.
On Sunday morning we will reorganize for an exhilarating drive from Goldendale down to the Columbia River via the winding Klickitat Canyon (Hwy 142) and then immediately back up out of the Columbia River Valley on Old Hwy 8 and Canyon Road back to Goldendale in time to check out of your hotel. The remainder of the day is on your ow, to return to Seattle.

Starting point is The Auburn Outlet Collection Mall.
Arrive between 8:00 - 8:30 AM (this is a change from the original time posted)
Driver's meeting at 8:30 AM
First group departs at 9:00 AM, followed by other groups with 10 minutes spacing each.
This change was necessary to line up with a reasonable lunch time and venue. No need to bring a picnic lunch as we have a block of seats at Bob's Burgers and Brew in Yakima. Full details will be given in the Welcome letter for those attending.
Directions to start point
Take Hwy 167 North or South to the 15th St SW exit. Take the first left turn into the mall and then the first left onto Outlet Collection Way. Take the first right and park in the large lot across from McDonalds.

Closes: Monday, July 29th at midnight unless the tour sells out early--max of 82 people (hard number)
