Invitation from John Brooks -
Mark your calendar - this year's Porsche beach picnic is on again from 0900-sundown, Rocky Point on Whidbey.
Bring your kids, dogs, it's for the whole family. A day at the beach with P-Cars. Come as a group, a herd or a gaggle or simply drive up single. Paved parking for 200 cars, indoor facility if the weather is poor. Rain or shine we are gathering for Ferry's Birthday on Whidbey.
Bring your family and friends, and of course your Porsche! Everyone is welcome.
From Seattle/Tacoma: I-5 north to Conway Hwy 534 or Burlington to Hwy 20 West to the traffic circle, then on to the island at Deception Pass Bridge.
From Vancouver BC: I-5 South from Canada, to Hwy 20 west to the traffic circle, left lane to Whidbey Island.
From Deception Pass Bridge, SR-20 south to the second traffic light (Ault field Rd.)
Right at this traffic light by the airplanes.
Straight through the next three lights to the traffic circle, take the first exit (was straight before) one mile, when the road turns left there is a park entrance on the right, in the curve.
Look for the Porsche Flag.
You can let John know if you're planning to attend by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by responding to the Whidbey Island Beach Picnic in the PNWR group on Facebook.
