Women’s Day is a special Driver Skills event limited to female participants only. That’s right, only women may register for this event. Otherwise, the event is the same as all other Driver Skills days. Driver Skills is a one-day course in the fundamentals of high performance driving. You’ll get lots of seat time on a closed course, perfecting your technique with exercises designed to focus on essential high performance driving skills: looking ahead, weight balance, smooth inputs, threshold braking, and more. 1:1 instruction insures that Driver Skills has something to offer drivers at any experience level.
The core exercises include a slalom course, wet and dry skidpads, braking and accident avoidance, advanced slalom, handling oval, and autocross. The day concludes with free runs on a large autocross course.
All PNWR members, their families, and their guests are encouraged to participate! Minor aged participants are welcome, provided they have a valid driver’s license on the day of the event.
Event cost is $55, including a hot lunch.
Helmet rentals are available for an additional $30 fee.
